Z gauge is 200-220 to 1 scale. These layouts give you an idea of just how much you can get into a small space and still make it look big!
There are two video here and the first is the winter snow scene I would have brought to the show circuit in 2021. The largest layout is only 1 meter wide and the smallest is just 30 cms wide. Firework displays, working fairground roundabout as well as running trains it has it all.
However, if you want a working fairground, working waterfall, viaducts, mountain and suchlike them watch the summer layout.
There is so much available for model trains. This is a show layout we constructed as an ‘L’ and showcased lots of moving figures, a working monorail and various diesel railcars but the show piece is the working rail maintenance permanent way tamping unit and support vehicles and workers.
